April to October is ideal for most northern regions. Fairy Meadows opens in May. Winter camps (November–March) are available in Skardu for the adventurous.
Warm layers (even in summer), sturdy trekking shoes, a flashlight, cash (ATMs are scarce), water purification tablets, and a first-aid kit.
Most camps are accessible by jeep tracks. Book private jeep transfers via WhatsApp. Flights to Gilgit/Skardu are available from Islamabad (weather permitting).
All StayPK camp hosts are verified. Emergency contacts are provided at check-in. Registered guides are available for trekking routes including K2 approaches.

April to October is the primary season for northern Pakistan. Hunza peaks in spring (April–May) for blossom views. Naran and Kaghan are best June–August. Fairy Meadows is open May–October.
Most camps require a combination of road travel and short treks. Jeep transfers are available from Gilgit, Skardu, and Naran. Book your transfer via WhatsApp when you book your camp. Guides are available for technical routes.
